Dropifi Outdoors Magento Extension, And More

Dropifi is at it again! The multi-award winning startup has launched its long-awaited extension on the popular Magento e-commerce platform. The launch, together with their partnership with Magento, wasannounced on their corporate blog a week ago. This is definitely good news for the shop owners on Magento who will immensely benefit from the great features that the Dropifi Magento extension comes with. For shop owners who may not be able to install the extension themselves, there is a help article which takes care of just that.
Prior to this release, Dropifi had released a WordPress plugin which has realized over 4000 downloads. This definitely tells us that companies and blog owners are taking customer relationship management to another level. The company boasts of most of its customers coming from the US, Europe, and Asia.

Dropifi is a company that was born out of Startup Weekend Accra, in 2011 when the co-founders were still students of the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology. It has gained so much attention internationally owing to their contact widget that allows companies to turn site visitors into customers. They were further adjudged Best Startup Of The Year by the Kaufmann Foundation during the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 to which the company has been invited to a conference in Brazil in March this year.
Earlier this month, Dropifi introduced it pricing model to the public releasing premium and custom features for paying customers. These payment plans are categorized into free, lite, business, and enterprise, with enterprise hitting $29.95 a month. This is a significant step of growth for the company which currently boasts of 2600 customers.
In an interview with Kamil Nabong, he indicated that these plugins will increase their reach and enable businesses on these platforms to benefit from the new and insightful way of customer engagement.
Considering the tremendous growth we have seen since the launch of the service in November 2012 and the expansion of our distribution channels, we’re expecting an exponential growth to reach 10,000 users by the end the second quarter of this year.
The greatest challenge on all our integration platforms and more especially on WordPress is the issue of localization which initially affected the retention rate. A recent update of the service has however brought with it support for over 70 languages. This means, whether your website is in Arabic, Greek or Spanish, you can engage your customers with Dropifi.
Also in the year, Dropifi’s CEO, David Osei, was featured on How We Made It In Africa, a renowned South African blog that celebrates entrepreneurship on the continent as these entrepreneurs tell their stories.
We hope that the release of the new extension and these other updates will help Dropifi break more grounds.
